Research Fellow: Michael Fullard

Michael is a Research Fellow, joining the Centre full time in May 2017. Mike has over 9 years' teaching experience in the primary sector, where he held roles such as Head of Curriculum and Phase Leader. Michael previously worked for the Jubilee Centre in 2016 as a Teaching Fellow. During this period Michael was lead author on the Teaching Character Through the Primary Curriculum project which looked at developing character in Key Stage 2 pupils as they move to secondary school. He also contributed towards the development of the Character Education Evaluation Handbook for Schools.  Michael is currently a member of the first cohort of students on the MA in Character Education. Michael aims to contribute to the development of character education within UK schools, an area he believes is vital to the development of young people today.

Michael is currently working on the Teacher Education: Character, Ethics and the Professional Development of Pre- and In-service Teachers project.
