Lecturer, MA Character Education: Paul Watts

Paul is currently a Lecturer on the 3 year MA in Character Education in which he contributes to all 1st and 2nd year modules as a Module Lead or Tutor. Paul joined the Jubilee Centre as a Research Fellow in 2017 and has contributed to developing the practical application of character education theory and research as part of the Teacher Education project. Within this, he has worked closely with school leaders and practitioners in the research and development of a continuing professional development programme for senior leaders. Paul previously worked as a teacher and member of the senior leadership team in a primary school. He assumed various teaching roles, including working with schools in his Local Education Authority as a Leading Teacher. Paul completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education in 2013 at the University of Birmingham. While working as a teacher, he also completed a Masters (MEd) in Teaching Studies.
