Research Fellow: Thomas Taylor

Tom is a Research Fellow who joined the Centre full time in September 2019. Tom has over 3 years teaching experience in the primary sector, where he introduced and lead Character Education across his previous school. Tom also has experience as the Literacy (Writing) and School Council lead. Tom’s previous school was the first school in the country to be awarded the ‘Kitemark’ as a ‘School of Character’ by the Association for Character Education. In his role as a Research Fellow, Tom is contributing to research projects that focus specifically on character education as ‘caught’.

Tom completed a BA (Hons) degree in Educational Studies in 2015 at the University of Birmingham. While working as a teacher in 2017, he also completed a Masters (MA) in Teaching Studies.
