The Jubilee Centre has published the final addition to the Phronesis project. The latest report, entitled Phronesis: Developing and Validating a Short Measure of Practical Wisdom, builds on previous work by the Centre to establish an instrument to measure phronesis. Since the project was initialised, it was found that, whilst the first instrument was theoretically well validated, it took too long to complete (45 minutes) and was unwieldly to score. The latest report details the validation of a new, short phronesis measure that takes 20 minutes or less to complete while retaining as much as possible the theoretical considerations that motivated the original measure. The full report is available to view here.
