The Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues publishes ‘
My Character: Enhancing Future-Mindedness in Young People. A Feasibility Study
’, the first of a series of research reports. With a foreword by Professor Kevin Ryan this report encompasses the bold and ambitious pilot project which sought to find a new way of teaching character and, more specifically, the virtues of future-mindedness. The Feasibility Study ran from May 2011 to April 2014 involving over 1000 young people throughout the country. The report draws on research evidence from the study to make recommendations for consideration by practitioners, policy makers and researchers interested in character education. Read the report
