Centre's Research Associate Meets HRH the Prince of Wales 31st July 2014 Centre News Social Action On Monday 28th July, Emma Taylor, a Research Associate at the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues who works on the collaborative project with partner organisation Step Up To Serve, met HRH the Prince of Wales as part of TRH the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall’s visit to Rutland, where they introduced them to young people from the local Cadet forces, Brownies, Guides, Explorers, and the Active Rutland Local Sport Alliance. HRH asked Emma about her research in the Centre and said he’s always believed in the importance of social action in developing character. The day was a huge success, with HRH meeting many inspirational people involved in their local communities. HRH continues to show great interest in the work of the Jubilee Centre.
