Dr Tom Harrison Speaks at Teach First Leadership Event 21st November 2014 Academic Teaching On Tuesday 18th November, Deputy Director of Development, Dr Tom Harrison spoke at Teach First’s West Midlands Challenges in Leadership Event – ‘Character and Independence’. The event explored the importance of building character and independence in young people and what this might look like in practice, as well as the short and long term implications. The event also marked the launch of Teach First’s new Character Education Network.
