Step Up To Serve celebrated the first anniversary of the #iwill campaign with an event at the Indigo at the O2 where a range of inspirational speakers of all ages shared their stories, along with the campaign’s young ambassadors. The event celebrated the importance of youth social action with leaders from the business, education and voluntary sectors giving their perspective and pledging their continued commitment to the campaign. The Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues is honoured to have organised a celebratory boat trip for the young ambassadors which set off from Embankment Pier on the Bateaux London and arrived at North Greenwich Pier prior to the event at the O2. The Centre worked closely with Step Up To Serve in the run up to the event to showcase 50 inspiring 10-20 year olds who are leading fantastic social action in their communities. To celebrate and recognise the achievements and good character of these 50 young people, the Centre and Step Up To Serve have published the #iwill brochure in the hope to inspire many more young people to develop their own character through participating in social action. The brochure begins with a foreword by HRH The Prince of Wales.
