Centre Director Presents on Character at SSAT Discussion Dinner

On Monday 24th November, Professor James Arthur and Dr Tom Harrison attended an SSAT (Schools Network) discussion dinner at The Royal Horseguards Hotel. The dinner was organised to highlight the issue of character development and to focus on whether it is possible to teach character development, how you might evaluate this and whether this should be part of the curriculum. Centre Director, Professor James Arthur, started the discussion by giving a presentation introducing character education and some key issues. The dinner was attended by key SSAT members, Honorary Fellow of the Jubilee Centre James O'Shaughnessy, The RT Hon Baroness Tyler of Endfield, Professor Sir Anthony Seldon, as well as head teachers.
