In June 2015, Step Up To Serve and the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues, invited 50 head teachers from across the UK, who are leading the way in embedding character and social action into their schools and colleges to come together to share best practice.  Following from this event, a new publication 'Transforming Young People and Communities' has been produced.  The brochure was developed by Step Up To Serve and the Jubilee Centre, in consultation with those 50 head teachers, and provides guidance about how schools can develop character through youth social action.  The publication outlines the key steps schools can take to set up and implement youth social action programmes and provides advice, ideas and inspiration from head teachers running primary, secondary and colleges.
