On 24th November 2015, the Jubilee Centre was delighted to celebrate the 2nd year anniversary of the #iwill campaign and to showcase, with Step Up To Serve, 50 inspiring young #iwill ambassadors and their commitment to social action.  The celebratory event was held at the Wayra Academy and was attended by HRH The Prince of Wales, Royal Patron to the campaign.  In a speech, HRH emphasised his continued support for the #iwill campaign and the importance of social action in developing young people, outlining the evidence for the benefits for young people.  The Prince of Wales had the opportunity to meet with all the young ambassadors and hear about how they take part in social action and how it has benefited them. HRH The Prince spoke with the Centre's Director of Development, Dr Tom Harrison about the integral role that the Centre is playing in supporting the campaign. The event also featured the launch of a brochure developed by Step Up To Serve and the Jubilee Centre titled 'Transforming Young People and Communities'.  The brochure was launched by Edward Timpson MP, Minister of State for Children and Families who highlighted the importance of social action in developing character in young people.  Find out more about this year's ambassadors here.
