The Centre's Character Education in UK Schools research study was replicated in 21 schools in Taiwan, involving 1,500 junior high school students and 41 teachers. Results were recently reported to the Taiwanese Ministry of Science and Technology by Associate Professor Yen-Hsin Chen, Department of Education, National Taichung University of Education. The official report describes relatively high scores on moral dilemma tests for the Taiwanese sample. This important collaboration between Taiwan and the Jubilee Centre will continue in autumn 2016, when Dr David Walker visits Taiwan at the invitation of the government, to talk to universities and schools about character education.
