On the 29th and 30th June, the Centre welcomed cadets from West Point Military Academy in the U.S. The cadets, who are all studying philosophy, were accompanied by Professor of Philosophy at USMA West Point, Richard Schoonhoven and Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Ethics, Major Scott Parsons. Major Parsons has visited the Centre previously, and co-ordinated the visit from West Point. During their visit the cadets were given an introductory talk from Professor James Arthur about the work of the Jubilee Centre, as well as a presentation on the research the Centre is undertaking on character and virtue in the British Army.
