Four members of the Jubilee Centre, Professors James Arthur, Kristján Kristjánsson and Robert C. Roberts, and Research Fellow Dr. Panos Paris, participated in a capstone conference on 13th and 14th October, marking the final stage of the John Templeton Foundation funded project Virtue, Happiness and the Meaning of Life at the University of Chicago. At the conference, Professor Kristjánsson presented a paper on 'Epiphanic Moral Conversations' and Professor Roberts talked about his work in the Jubilee Centre in a panel discussion. Former Distinguished Visiting Professor in the Centre, Candace Vogler, also presented a paper on 'The Place of Virtue in a Meaningful Life'. On the final night of the conference, the Cardinal Cupich, Archbishop of Chicago gave a keynote presentation on solidarity and virtue.
