Dame Julia Cleverdon, Co-founder of Step up to Serve and Michael Lynas, CEO of National Citizen Service launched the Jubilee Centre’s new research report A Habit of Service to 170 delegates at the Tower of London on 22nd of November. The delegates included policy makers and representatives from education and charities.
The report, which was conducted in partnership with the #iwill campaign, is the largest known study of its kind on youth social action and reports on evidence gathered from over 4,500 16-20 year olds about the factors that are associated with young people that have made a habit of service.
The event also celebrated the 50 new #iwill ambassadors and the publication of the new #iwill brochure and included a presentation from 2016 ambassador Naomi Lea, who spoke about her journey in social action.
