Professor James Arthur was interviewed by Toby Young, for the Radio 4 feature show A Question of Character, which recognised character as an increasingly prominent feature in the UK policy landscape. The extensive work of the Jubilee Centre was discussed throughout the programme. In addition to this, Professor Arthur and Toby Young visited the University of Birmingham School to speak with Rebecca Tigue, who is the Head of School and is responsible for how character education can be taught and caught. Director of Education, Dr. Tom Harrison also featured in the programme to discuss what character traits are valued by parents. Other topics included character from a historic perspective, whether character is responsible for recent social ills and how much of character is down to genes. The full audio is available here.
