On Wednesday 17th October 2018, Jubilee Centre Director Prof. James Arthur and Director of Education Dr. Tom Harrison attended and gave a short presentation at the John Templeton Foundation Character Virtue Development (CVD) grantee event in Philadelphia. The event was the first time the Foundation has brought together its CVD grantees to discuss the big questions and challenges of conducting research into character and character education. The event was organised by Sarah Clement, the Director of the CVD department, and attended by Heather Templeton Dill, President of the Foundation. Participants included many of the leading lights in character education, including Prof. Richard Lerner, Prof. Angela Duckworth, Prof. Scott Seider and Prof. Marvin Berkowitz, alongside many others.
