The Jubilee Centre held its 7th annual conference at Oriel College, Oxford, from 3rd-5th January 2019, under the title ‘Virtues: Local or Universal?’. The conference, which brought together over 100 delegates from across the globe and from a range of disciplines, saw 47 seminar papers presented across parallel sessions. Key note speakers Professor Christian Miller, Professor Doret de Ruyter, Professor Jonathan Webber, Professor Jennifer Wright each offered different perspectives on the locality versus the universality of virtue, as did the after-dinner speaker Professor L.
