In February 2019, Research Fellows Ben Miller and Rachael Hunter met with Dr. Karen Bohlin, Head of Montrose School, in Boston, USA to discuss curriculum materials for character education. They observed character education initiatives at Montrose School and spent time talking to members of staff who plan for, and teach, character education. They also visited the Center for Character and Social Responsibility at Boston University, which seeks to expand institutions’ and individuals’ awareness, knowledge, and skills in the areas of character development and social responsibility. The Centre looks forward to continuing its collaborations with Montrose School and the Center for Character and Social Responsibility.
