Professors Candace Vogler and James Arthur attended a forum on human flourishing in the Angelicum University, Rome on Saturday and Sunday 27th -28th April 2019. The purpose of the conference was to discuss the writing of a White Paper for the upcoming Conference in the Vatican on 10th May 2019. Both contributed papers and were involved in intense discussions about character formation and the virtues that constitute it. A great deal of preparatory work was completed and character formation was highlighted as a priority for www.humanity2.0.org, which organised both the forum and Conference. Participating organisations in the Conference will include Google, SAP, Amazon, Salesforce, IBM, Cisco, The Coca-Cola Company, Forbes Impact, HSBC, Virgin, The Wharton School, Harvard Business School, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and the John Templeton Foundation.
