The Character Curriculum Launch 19th August 2019 Centre News Character Education

The Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues, with the support of the Kern Family Foundation, has produced a range of character education curriculum resources for children aged 7 to 14 years. Each suite of resources starts with an introductory module on the philosophy of virtue ethics, which enables students to access the language of virtue and provides an understanding of the process of virtue development. The subsequent lessons are centred around topics which have been chosen from statutory and non-statutory guidance for PSHE, Citizenship and the new Health and Relationships Education in the UK. Resources include detailed lesson plans for teachers, accompanying PowerPoints and photocopiable resources. The Centre is seeking feedback from teachers on the format, content and effectiveness of the resources; more information about how to get in touch is available here where the resources are available to download.
