Members of the Jubilee Centre, Director Professor James Arthur, Research Fellow Stephen Earl, Director of Strategy and Integration Aidan Thompson and Impact Officer Joseph Ward have recently authored ‘The Value of Character-Based Judgement in the Professional Domain’ for the Journal of Business Ethics. Drawing upon philosophical accounts of virtue ethics and positive psychology, the publication attempts to elevate the role of ‘good’ character within the professional domain, discussing the impact that the development of character has upon an individual’s professional purpose.
