On 23rd, 24th and 25th September 2019, the Centre were delighted to host visitors from West Point Military Academy in New York. Major Scott Parsons, PhD Candidate in the Jubilee Centre, was part of the senior delegation that visited Birmingham to learn more about the Jubilee Centre's A Framework for Character Education in Schools and how it may be applied in a military teaching context. Following a series of meetings with Jubilee Centre staff, Aidan Thompson and Tom Taylor took the visitors to the University of Birmingham School, where Rebecca Tigue, Head of School, spoke about the School's approach to character development. The visitors were also able to see some teaching in practice and speak to students.
