The Birmingham Character and Youth Social Action Group, which convened in late 2018, is committed to shining a spotlight the good practice and research around character and youth social action in the city and surrounding areas. The Group is delighted to have published a brochure to showcase the work of a number of organisations including Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital, DoIT.Life, Birmingham Education Partnership, WE Schools, the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues and Beatfreeks. The brochure offers an insight into the efforts of each of the aforementioned parties and represents the first output of the Group, which intends to establish a network of both providers and opportunities for young people to engage with in their practice of social action and character development. You can view more information about the Group and access the brochure here.
