The Jubilee Awards for Service is an annual awards programme celebrating the outstanding service of those working in the public sector. The awards recognise and reward individuals who go above and beyond their remit, dedicate their working life to helping others, or who have made a significant contribution to the lives of others through their work.
Many public sector workers from across the UK were nominated by grateful colleagues, friends or members of the public and on 25th July 2013, 12 Award Winners were invited to a ceremony at the House of Lords to receive their awards and certificates from Lord Watson of Richmond CBE.
