Developed in consultation with leaders in the field of character education at St. George’s House, Windsor, the Centre has published a ‘Statement of Civic Virtues in the Public Domain’. This statement reaffirms the importance of civic virtues in democratic life in the modern world and aims to prompt further discussion and deliberation into the definition of civic virtues, which civic virtues are relevant to democratic life and how these can be fostered through education to develop citizens of character.
