On the 8th November, Lecturer on the MA for Character Education Paul Watts presented at The Association for Moral Education’s 45th Annual Conference in Seattle. The theme of this year’s conference was Morality and Ethics for the Digital World. Paul’s paper was titled Moral Education through Children’s Stories: A Critical Analysis of Historical Perspectives; within this he analysed the pedagogical recommendations of early 20th century approaches to moral education, discussing these through the lens of recent empirical research.
