On 3rd May 2022, the Jubilee Centre hosted a webinar, entitled ‘Futureproof – Preparing Young People For Their Digital Futures’,  in recognition of the launch of Futureproof: A Comprehensive Framework for Teaching Digital Citizenship in Schools. Designed as a practical session for teachers, parents and other educators, the event aimed to bring to life the new comprehensive framework for teaching digital citizenship in schools outlined in the new book, published by John Catt Educational on 2nd May 2022.

Alongside the launch of this latest book, the authors Dr. Tom Harrison (Director of Education, Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues), Dr. Gianfranco Polizzi (Postdoctoral Research Fellow, University of Liverpool), Sophie Murfin (CEO and Executive Head, Wise Owl Trust), and Lee Peachey (Deputy Headteacher, St. Mary’s Catholic High School, Manchester) drew upon their ongoing research, classroom experience and personal expertise to demonstrate the need for this new approach, the theoretical challenges that have guided its development and it can be practically applied to support the development of young people at all ages across both primary and secondary education.

A recording of this session can be found below and, along with all previous webinars, via the Jubilee Centre YouTube channel.
