Centre Director Gives Keynote Lecture at Association for Character Education Annual Conference

On the 24^th November, Centre Director Professor James Arthur, gave the keynote lecture at the annual Association for Character Education (ACE) conference at Kings High School, Warwick.

Joined by Deputy Director Professor Tom Harrison and Assistant Professor Michael Fullard, Professor Arthur's talk offered practical and philosophical insights into why character matters and what it means to be a flourishing school to the more than 200 schools and organisations who shared good practice in character education through out the day.

There will be multiple free resources available for you to take away at this event. We will be launching a new workbook, based on research funded by the Society for Educational Studies, for use by careers guidance professionals and character educators to help students consider who they are, the character traits they aspire towards, and to align their career choices with this. We will also have multiple other free resources that educators can use within their practice based on over a decade of research at the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues.
