Professor James Arthur made a second visit to Vienna From 22nd -24th August, visiting politicians in the Austrian Parliament Building as a preliminary to a forthcoming proposal to the Minister of Education on Character Education. Professor Arthur also visited the University of Vienna to meet with colleagues and presented a keynote to a gathering of head teachers at Gottweig Abbey, Furth bei Göttweig. This visit came after an initial trip to Vienna by the Jubilee Centre Director on 21st June on which he met with Gudrun Kugler MP, and Princess Tatjana of Liechtenstein, amongst others. The ongoing activity in Austria has been spurred by serious interest in the work of the Centre, especially in Character Education.
