Between 27th February and 1st March 2022, the MA Character Education team held a residential for students based in the United States who are funded through the Kern Award. 51 students, who work in schools, the voluntary sector and higher education organisations from across the United States, joined Jubilee Centre staff in Chicago with the generous support of the Kern Family Foundation. In addition to lectures delivered by the MA team, students participated in group discussions and were given the opportunity to present on the links between their professional work and their studies. The MA team also aim to host a residential on campus at the University of Birmingham in 2022. The on campus residential will be open to all students studying on the MA Character Education programme, and further details will be announced in due course.
