8th September 2021Events

Marking the publication of ‘Understanding Character Education: Approaches, Applications, and Issues’ by the Open University Press in August 2021 and authored by the Jubilee Centre’s Paul Watts, Michael Fullard and Professor Andrew Peterson, the Jubilee Centre hosted a Webinar and launch event on Tuesday 7 September with attendees from around the world.

With over 200 people in attendance and chaired by the Centre’s Director of Education Dr. Tom Harrison, this event included reflections and expert advice for teachers, schools and school leaders shared by guest speakers Nat Parnell (Regional Director, United Learning), Julie Taylor (Senior Teaching Fellow, University of Warwick), Adrian McLean (Trust Lead, Severn Academies Education Trust) and Tina Lovey (CEO, Rivermead Inclusive Trust). This was followed by a Q&A and a vote of thanks given by Michael Fullard on behalf of his fellow authors. A recording of this webinar can be viewed below and via our YouTube channel.
