On Tuesday 27th October 2015, Jubilee Centre Manager Aidan Thompson presented at the UNICEF Montenegro Quality Education conference on ‘Quality, Inclusion and Innovation – Foundations for the Future’ in Podgorica. Over 250 delegates were in attendance, including the Minister of Education, Predrag Bošković, who opened the conference. The British Ambassador to Montenegro, members of the Cabinet Office, UNICEF, the Ministry of Education, the Bureau of Education and teachers and directors from schools across the country were in attendance as education stakeholders involved in pre-school, primary and secondary education were brought together for the first time in Montenegro, to discuss education reforms in the country. Aidan gave a presentation on ‘The Call for Character‘, and the role of schools in developing the character of young people, and participated in a panel discussion.
