As part of its tenth anniversary year, and in response to feedback from teachers, school leaders, academic colleagues and a global network of partners, the Centre has revised its central academic framework.

Now titled The Jubilee Centre Framework for Character Education in Schools, this updated version for 2022 continues to offer the key principles for and ambitions of character education as well as including the ‘The Building Blocks of Character’, and ‘A Neo-Aristotelian Model of Moral Development’.

Alongside this, this third edition also now includes a reflection on the process that led to the framework’s creation, offers context to the development and application of the Neo-Aristotelian Model, and The Character Teaching Inventory integrated alongside the wider framework as a practical tool to support practitioners.

The new Framework is available to access here.
