On Monday 2nd March 2020, Prof. James Arthur and Aidan Thompson attended the annual meeting of the National Council of Classical Education. The meeting, held as part of the Institute of Classical Education’s National Classical Education Symposium, convened delegates from the leading organisations involved in classical education in the United States. James spoke to the Council about the Jubilee Centre’s origins and overlaps with educational pedagogies on character and classical education. James and Aidan, along with Research Fellows Michael Fullard, Benjamin Miller, and Bec Tigue (University of Birmingham School), and Dan Wright (The London Oratory School) attended the Symposium and engaged in discussions about character and classical education.
