UNICEF Montenegro and the Bureau of Education in Montenegro have published the ‘My Character and Values’ research report on the ‘Role of Schools in Developing Students’ Character, Values and Skills’. The report focuses on the work developed in partnership with the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues, drawing upon the expertise and resources from the Centre. Director of Partnerships, Dr Sandra Cooke, and Teaching Fellow in the Centre, Michael Fullard, will be attending the launch of the report and presenting their reflections on the ongoing partnership later this month. This follows an extended collaboration between the Centre and parties in Montenegro, which has included presentations by Centre staff to practitioners, diplomats and government personnel in Podgorica, and a visit of UNICEF and Bureau of Education staff to the Centre to participate in training on the delivery of character education. Details about the presentation by Centre Manager Aidan Thompson in October 2015 can be found here.
