Assistant Professor Michael Fullard was invited to a reception at Apsley House in London on 15th June 2023. The event, which was intended to celebrate the 650th anniversary of the Anglo-Portuguese Alliance, was hosted by the Duke of Wellington who introduced Michael to President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa of Portugal.
Michael was invited in recognition of his outstanding curriculum materials for schools in Portugal which focus on the key virtues that represent the Alliance. Professor James Arthur was also in attendance. In the photos below Michael can be seen meeting HRH The Duke of Gloucester and a high-ranking Officer in the UK Armed Forces.
