Professor Mark E. Jonas, Professor of Education and Associate Professor of Philosophy (by courtesy) at Wheaton College, has recently authored ‘Platonic Insights on the Cultivation of the Virtues in a Digital Age’ for the Jubilee Centre’s Insight Series. Professor Jonas’ paper discusses how the teachings of Plato may be utilised for the cultivation of virtues in the digital age, examining digital media’s impact upon consciousness and the challenges such influence inculcates for virtue formation.
