Between 10th and 12th March 2024, the MA Character Education team held a residential in Boston for students based in the United States funded through the Kern Award. More than 70 students and graduates of the MA Character Education joined Jubilee Centre staff in Boston with the generous support of the Kern Family Foundation. As part of the residential programme, MA tutors and 12 graduates of the MA programme delivered presentations about their practical work and research in the field. Keynote presentations were delivered by Prof. Mindy Bier (Center for Character and Citizenship at University of Missouri-St Louis), Prof. Kristján Kristjánsson (Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues, University of Birmingham) and Liz Huntley (The Hope Institute).
