The Jubilee Centre co-hosted the 2025 European Character and Virtues Association (ECVA) Conference in Vienna. The event was organised by Professor Roland Bernhard from the University College of Teacher Education of Christian Churches in Austria, and Dr Martin Brestovansky from the University of Trnava in Slovakia. The conference and brought together over 120 scholars, educators, and policymakers from 23 countries to explore the pressing question: What makes a life of flourishing, and how can education support it? The conference fostered pan-European dialogue across philosophy, psychology, education, and policy, reaffirming that character is at the heart of transformative education.
