The Jubilee Centre is pleased to launch – Character and Initial Teacher Education: A Practical Guide. Focusing on Initial Teacher Education (ITE) within an English context, the practical guide explores and describes how ITE influences and shapes the professional practice of student teachers, as well as how student teachers understand their role. The practical guide aims to provide guidance and support for ITE educators so that they can develop an understanding of character education, and ultimately integrate character education within, the preparation of beginning teachers.
