On Monday 2nd March 2020, a delegation from the Jubilee Centre including James Arthur, Aidan Thompson, Michael Fullard and Benjamin Miller, accompanied by Bec Tigue (Head of School at the University of Birmingham School) and Daniel Wright (Headmaster of The London Oratory School), visited three K-12 Charter Schools in Phoenix, Arizona. These schools formed part of the Great Hearts Foundation which currently includes 28 schools from Arizona and Texas. Across this foundation Great Hearts promotes a Classical Education approach putting emphasis on the study of classical literature and art as vehicle to develop cognitive, emotional and moral education. During their visit the delegation observed lessons, spoke to pupils and met with the foundations leadership team, Daniel Scoggin, Jake Tawney and Helen Hayes.
