The Centre has published a Statement on Character and Sport. Developed in consultation with leaders from across education and sport, the Statement aims to both affirm the character building potential of sport and to provoke further discussion and deliberation on the specific opportunities and challenges of engaging in particular sports with regards to character development. The Statement also discusses the importance of profiling athletes, coaches, and sports men and women as role models of good character. The full statement is available to view here.
